It’s that time of year where people go out on the streets of New Orleans and celebrate Mardi gras! And this time, my friends and I decided that what would be better for our senior year of college then to go down and celebrate too! We are excited that we will be graduating and this way we can get a little break mid semester and have some fun.

There were a few different ways that we considered to get there. There are about 25 of us going so flying commercially doesn’t really seem like a great idea and would be such a hassle trying to get tickets and everyone there in a big group sounds miserable. We also thought about taking a coach bus but a 15 hour drive there to be there for only a day or 2 and then 15 hours back is crazy. So we decided on chartering a private jet and we are all really excited about it.

The private jet charter option was a little bit more expensive, but much more convenient and a lot classier. We will get to go to the airport and get right on the plane and we won’t spend all of those hours driving and being miserable. We can also all be together on the private jet and we can go and come straight there and home afterwards. It is so much easier this way and it is really exciting that we have it all to ourselves. It makes the trip seem a lot more special and relaxing.

This is going to be an amazing break from school work. The end of February is always stressful which tests and midterms coming up and this is a great way to get away from all of it for just a weekend and kick back and relax and have a great time. Although my friends and I really aren’t into a lot of the grosser things that go on at Mardi gras in the streets, it is always a fun, relaxing time that you can just enjoy with your friends.

Growing up is just around the corner. My friends and I are graduating in May and then we will be out of the college bubble and in the real world where you can’t wake up everyday at noon and stay out all night. So before that actually sets in, we are excited to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the semester and take a private jet to New Orleans to party it up! Because this time next year we will be working hard.
